A Journey of Art & Faith.
Through decades of creating art, I’ve discovered that the most powerful work doesn’t just come from talent, practice, or good ideas—it comes from inviting God into the creative process itself. When I look back, I can see clear patterns in how He met me in moments of inspiration, doubt, frustration, and breakthrough. In the beginning it seemed I stumble into these moments; then I learned the key was how to make room for them. I experimented, failed, listened, adjusted, and slowly developed ways of working that consistently opened space for God’s presence and voice in what I was creating.
This book, Create, is my way of putting those years of experience into your hands. It isn’t a collection of vague encouragements or distant theories. It’s practical, real, and born out of trial and error (with a healthy dose of frustration) in the studio, in the quiet hours when I wondered if what I was making even mattered. In these pages, I show you how to invite God into your process—step by step—so that you’re not just making images, but creating compelling art that touches your soul.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, uninspired, or unsure how your faith and your creativity fit together, this book is for you. I’ll walk you through easy to follow and simple practices that can transform your work—whether you are a beginner or an established artist. You don’t have to figure this out alone or keep guessing what it looks like to bring God into your art. I’ve walked this road for years, and now I’m placing what I’ve learned in your hands through CREATE, so that the same presence and inspiration that has shaped my work can shape yours too.
